WATER TECH.

Due to the fact that since the beginning of the 21st century, people all over the world felt severe problems of water shortage.
A lot of researches and developpements to this industry was taking place, the Gulf region is in bad need for water technology.
For this reason Dena-BMS had team up with Christopher Constantinidis Company because they are the first Greek construction company engaged in water technology as well as municipal sewage and industrial wastewater. Since 1980, the company have designed, constructed and operated major turn - key projects, amongst which the largest constructed in Greece.
To name a few of their implemented works:
- Thessaloniki's Water Treatment Plant with a production capacity of 150.000m3/day
- The wastewater Treatment Plant for major Thessaloniki ( phase 1) at Sindos, with a treatment capacity of 250.000m3/day
- The wastewater and Septic treatment plant of major Athens at Metamorfosi, with a treatment capacity of 20.000m3/day domestic sewage and 24.000m3/day of septic sewage
- Wastewater and septic treatment plant for the city of Chalkis, with a treatment capacity of 9.500m3/day of domestic sewage and 1.500m3/day of septic sewage
- The wastewater treatment plants of Egion ( 8.000 m3/day), of Thessaloniki's tourist areas at Michaniona ( 39.500 m3/day), of Kalloni ( 3.750m3/day), of Plomari ( 3.000m3/day), of Thira ( Santorini) island ( 6000 m3/day), of Mitilini ( 12.000 m3/day), and of mesologi ( 9.600 m3/day).
- The desalination plant for the production of potable water by reverse Osmosis for the U.S Naval Base at Nea Makri

The company has undertaken the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of several water and wastewater treatment plants, amongst which the largest is:
- Major Athens ( Psyttalia) Sewage treatment plant with a treatment capacity of 1.000.000m3/day
While currently it is responsible for the O&M, by its own personnel, of the plants:
- Thessaloniki's water treatment plant with a production capacity of 150.000 m3/day, a project to follow the design 2design.
- construct - operate" contract.
- Thessaloniki's Sewage treatment plant ( stage 1 and 2) with a treatment capacity of 150.000m3/day.
- New Athens International Airport " Eleftherios Venizelos" sewage treatment plant for with a capacity of 9.000m3/day.
